In this series, reclaimed ceramic and glaze materials (communal studio waste) were collected, mixed, and pressed into bricks that were cross-sectioned and fired. This is a study on utilizing waste materials in ceramic studios for aesthetic and design purposes, with interior architectural applications.
The cross-sectioned tiles adorned the front desk of the Emily & Todd Voth Artspace in Kansas City, MO, during their 2024 BFA Student Exhibition.
